• DPC and Charles Blackwell, PE from network member company AWT, Inc. supported AKEA's prime contract task order for conducting a CAA Subpart Ce regulatory and technology Feasibility Study related to the VAMC in Gainesville, Florida's existing aste incinerator. The project was completed in September, 2011, and recieved a favorble deliverable assessment from AKEA's project manager, AKEA principals, and the VAMC client.

• Award to Prime pending, from US Veteran's Administration for Task proposal submitted in May 2011, DPC Donna Potter on DPC Informal Nationwide Small Business Network Partner (AKEA team), for CAA Control Technology Feasibility Study due to upcoming compliance date for EPA and FDEP NESHAPs standard for existing Medical and Infectious Waste Incinerator recent adopted rule.

• DPC prepared a Veterans Administration medical Transcription Services bid for a small business located in Pennsylvania and 3 small businesses NAVY SeaPort-e proposals, and for one company also completed the teaming formation and coordination for. One proposal prepared was a prior client and the other two new clients.
• DPC is supporting a DPC small business network member company's US Veterans Administration task order bid through a 8(a)/SDVOSB engineering firm existing contract in the southeast. The task is to provide CAA feasibility Assessment study supporting recent existing medical waste incinerator air pollution standards technology and cost assessmentfor compliance schedule requirements by EPA and FDEP.

March 2011:

• DPC has added another new GIS Consultant, Mr. Carlos Martin Fortich, B.A. Political Science (History), Univ. of Florida - Over 20 years GIS Specialist Consultant, has prior worked for companies such as for HDR, CDM; and had prior worked as an employee for St. Johns River Management District on GIS projects, in Northeast Florida; and in Texas on Texas DOT related GIS projects, and on Jacksonville Elecric (JEA) projects, 3D, GW Modeling GIS, GIS System Design, GIS Project management 11 years, many ESRI courses.

• In March, SciMedco, Inc. in Annapolis, Marylandextended our Business development Support year long contract for an additional two years.SciMedco has applied to SBA for entry into their 8(a) Minority owned small business program recently and is awaiting approval. They are already WBENC certified, and a prequalified Maryland DOT minority contractor.

The NAVY's Naval Sea Systems Commands (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD awarded 2 performance-based, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity, multiple-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts worth up to $87.6 million to provide engineering and demilitarization of munitions.
